About Kelly Hall
Kelly played for former Connecticut Coach of the Year Mimi Duran at Wamogo, where she was a two-time all-state selection, and a captain as a junior and senior. She went on to play at the University of Connecticut, where she was a three-year starter, a First-Team Mideast Regional All-American, and ranked in the top eight nationally in assists. She was also a member of teams that won 7 Big East championships, qualified for the NCAA tournament three times, and went to the Elite 8 two times. She played with the best, and trained at one of the best strength and conditioning facilities in the country. She been involved in coaching field hockey since 1995 , directed a field hockey program for 50 girls ages 5-14, and coached high school athletes at several field hockey camps. She also privately coached several girls in the sport of field hockey to improve their individual needs. She has a passion and deep appreciation of the sport of field hockey, and loves being involved and continue learning as much as she possibly can about the sport. She combined this love of field hockey with her passion for fitness and personal training. She was a dean’s list graduate from the University of Connecticut, with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and a dean’s list graduate from the University of Bridgeport with a Master’s in Secondary Science education, and currently works as a middle school Science teacher. Kelly is a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2003. She has had the pleasure of running this training camp for the Cheshire high school team for the last 16 years.
