Donate a New Toy – Race for FREE!
We are thrilled to partner with Fleet Feet of West Hartford, Riverfront Recapture, Asics & 96.5 TIC’s Craig & Company to host this special holiday 5k
that will leave you feeling good and ensure that a less fortunate kid in the Hartford area will receive a new toy this holiday season.
Who: Runners & Walkers of All Ages & Abilities
What: 5k Run/Walk (mainly off-road)
When: Sunday, December 13 @ 10am
Where: Riverside Park (20 Leibert Rd – by the Boathouse)
Why: Celebrate the Power of the Running Community to Do Good & Spread Holiday Cheer
Cost: In lieu of a registration fee, participants are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy on race day.
Toys will be donated to 96.5’s “We are the Children” foundation for distribution to area kids who won’t otherwise receive a toy this holiday.
